Update as of 9/29/05

My latest information is that 42 students will be preauthorized from the wait-list: first Biology majors in the order they appear on the wait list, then non-majors as they appear on the wait-list. This already allows for slight over-enrollment because of anticipated attrition in the next couple of weeks. I am sorry that absolutely no more students can be admitted. This means there will not be space for concurrent enrollment students.

Important information from the registrar (9/22/05)

1. This class is closed. There will be no adds during the first week of class. Wait listed students and those who wish to be added to the wait list must go to the Biology Student Affairs Office (1128 Pacific Hall) by Friday, September 30th, to confirm interest in adding this class. Students who do not go to Biology Student Affairs by September 30th, may not be pre-authorized to add the class.

2. Student Affairs will pre-authorize as many students from the wait list as there are spaces available. If pre-authorized, students may enroll anytime Monday, October 3rd and Tuesday, October 4th via WebReg.

3. Pre-authorizations will be rescinded on Wednesday, October 5th. If there are still spaces available in the class, students may add via WebReg on a first come, first served basis. If students are unable to add, please direct them to Biology Student Affairs, 534-0557. The last day for students to add is Friday, October 7th.

THE PROFESSOR CANNOT SIGN ADD CARDS FOR STUDENTS WHO WISH TO ADD except if the student is a concurrent enrollment student. Concurrent Enrollment add cards should only be signed during the 3rd week of the quarter if spaces are available.

WITHDRAWAL PROCESS

The last day to drop a class without a “W” is Friday, October 21st and the last day to drop a class with a “W” is Monday, November 28th.
