text is BIOLOGY, 8th Edition (2008), by Campbell and Reece. You may also
use the
older (7th) edition, provided you take responsibility for determining
the correspondence between pages and chapters in the two editions.
Although lecture
material will form the primary basis for material on the exams, the
instructor reserves the right to assign topics
that are presented in the text but not covered in lecture.

each chapter. It is highly recommended that you use the
self-quizzes to assess your understanding of lecture material and to
