1.) Sections will be held as scheduled during the tenth week, but there are no specific problems/paper assigned. Use the opportunity to review with the TAs. Those going to Monday sections can go to any of the other sections this week.
2.) There will be a review session with the instructor next Monday, from 3-5PM, in CENTR 105
3.) NB The class will be split up for the final exam:
Last name starting with A to M will take the exam in CENTR 101
Last name starting with N to Z will take the exam in PEPPER CANYON HALL 109

The section at 12on Friday (Elizabeth Nakae) is cancelled next week. Students in that section should go to any of the other sections.

In the problem set for week 4, dealing with a review of meiosis, there is an error in the answers for question #3 (second meiotic division in Aa males after a recombination between the A locus and the centromere. The diagram is correct.
The next problem set (set IV) is also very useful in preparations for the midterm exam. The answers have already been posted, as well.

Michelle Turley's Monday Section is cancelled today, but she will schedule a make up next week. In the meantime, those in her section can attend one of the other Monday sections this week.

The Sections will start on Wednesday, April 4. You can review the first four chapters of the textbook, or similar material from other books (Lehninger, Alberts, Lodish, etc.) Go through the slides from the Lectures 1-3 and make sure you understand the principles. There are several redundant slides illustrating the same point with slightly different schematics and abstration.
