General Information
Welcome to Structural Biochemistry class for the Fall Quarter 2002 at the Division of Biology at UCSD taught by Dr. Lukas Buehler. This class is an introduction to various aspects of structure and function of biologically important macromolecules. These include proteins, nucleic acids, polysaccharides, and lipids. The course is divided into 3 major parts covering about three weeks each.  To guide you through the lecture, a class reader is available at the university bookstore. This reader is an outline of the lecture and is meant as a guideline, not a substitute, for the textbook.
Grades

Midterm         40%   PART I
Final Exam     60%   PARTS II&III
(Final is not cumulative)
