Information
Welcome to Structural Biochemistry
class for the first Summer Session 2004 at the Division of
Biological Sciences at UCSD. This summer course is taught by Dr.
Lukas Buehler. This class is an introduction to various aspects
of structure and function of biologically important macromolecules.
These include proteins, nucleic acids, polysaccharides, and lipids.
The course is divided into 3 major parts with two midterm and a
cumulative final exam. To guide you through the lecture, a
class reader is available at the University Bookstore. This reader
is an outline of the lecture and is meant as a guideline, not a
substitute, for the textbook.
