Grading info:
Class total (average 125 out of 200):
155 or higher for A; 120-154 B; 85-119 C; 50-84 D

Final exam (average 53 out of 80):
65 or higher for A; 50-64 B; 35-49 C; 20-34 D

Exams are ready for pick-up late Thursday afternoon at York Hall 3080 (sorry, exams are not available earlier)

Final exams, class grades will be ready Tuesday 8/2; exams can be picked up outside Bonner Hall 2238.

Exam preparation: Use a study guide for midterm (includes Q1) and final exam (includes Q2); Find old exams from the previous summer classes: Summer 04, Fall 00

BML reserves: the Voet Biochemistry 3rd ed. is now available to students for a 2 hour checkout

  If you take BIBC100 and 102 concurrent, an extra final session will be scheduled to avoid time conflict

Grading

 

Midterm and Final exam 40% each
Final is not cumulative

Quiz 1 and 2 are 10% each

Grade A (90% or more of total)
Grade B (80%)
Grade C (70%)
Grade D (60%)

Cutoffs may be lower (e.g. 85% for an A), as the grades will be curved.
