In the Reinagel Lab we are interested in how sensory neurons encode information. We focus on the early stages of signal processing and information transmission in vertebrate vision. Our approach employs a combination of experiments (anatomy, electrophysiology, and visual behavior) and computation (data analysis, modelling). We are part of the Neurobiology department at UCSD.
